Callistemon lanceolatus is commonly called the 'Bottle Brush Tree'. It grows to a height of 8-12 metres. The plant is suitable for road median planting and for avenue planting. Its growth is weeping growth habit. The plant flowers attracts flowers, butterflies and bees. The leaves are narrow and pointed. They are arranged spirally along loose hanging stems. Flowers are glowing red bourne in circular manner along these stems. The tree is very adaptable and grows in a wide climatic range.
